Overview– Photo printers that can create “consistent” poster-size without the need for a PC are becoming increasingly famous. Most of them, for example, Epson and HP, injection jets are small scale, however, Canon has taken an alternative course, offering a variety of small scale printers with a focus on color engineering sublimation. The CP-500 is located at the top of this new range, however, you can now have for recently over £ 100 for the price of the road.

The head also runs the full width of the print, and sublimated color-based paint – robust fast-rotating steam, bypassing a fluid stage. The steam is consolidated in the paper, so even though the printer is calculated at 300dpi, with no visible blemishes all the time. This is called persistent tone.

The Selphy CP500 is the extension of a smooth thick cover, however, there is a different dark part of the power supply and a space-saving 6 x 4-inch carton ribbon cut at the front. In addition, you should allow a space around the desktop at a time of the printer, according to each card as its sustained through the printing process. Other paper sizes, including credit card, are visible with split film ribbons and cartridges for each ink.

The dome inlet on the side gives access to the cartridge ink film that slides easily, however you should be careful not to complicate the fragile backing film. On the other side are the accessories for USB 2 connections with any PC and an advanced cam that fits DirectPrint or PictBridge guidelines. Using this connection, the printer does not need to be associated with a machine to be able to produce prints.

There is no control over the highest point of the machine, just a small window showing the extension of the paper tape installed. This blinks blue around the edges when the printer is fed up and blinks when printing.
